Description
Professional Swiss-made gouges from PFEIL, ideal for wood engraving (called xylogravure) and linocut (called linocut).
The mushroom-shaped handle is made from natural, oiled native pearwood, making it easy to grip.
The blade is made of vanadium chromium steel, sharpened to 25° and polished. Be careful, these tools are sharp.
The LS A set includes six different styles of block cutter for linoleum and wood:
L 1/8 – wide, flat straight line
L 1s/8 – angled wide, straight line
L 1a/8 – medium, flat straight line
L 5/8 – very shallow U shaped cut
L 11/3 – medium U shaped cut
L 12a/4 – large V shaped cut
