Our Meudon White is a Whiting Powder used in intaglio printing.
Made from calcium carbonate, it is a degreasing agent with multiple uses.
Meudon White can be applied to your hands to polish intaglio plates during the preparation process. It can also be used as a thickener for etching inks.
When the Whiting Agent is mixed with vinegar or water, it creates a solution perfect for degreasing plates.
Note that Meudon White is not suitable for use on iron plates.
